An easy go to meal in our house. My kids love coming in from a cold day to their favorite soup steaming hot on the dinner table. They always try to guess which one of us harvested the bird they are eating
Wild Turkey Soup
- ½ wild turkey breast
- ½ clove garlic minced
- 1 large onion diced
- ½ cup dehydrated carrots or 4 carrots
- 4 celery pieces
- 3 quarts water
- Chicken bouillon to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Egg noodles
Pressure cook your turkey breast, 20 min on high. Allow to cool a bit, then shred by using two forks to separate the meat. If you don’t have a pressure cooker just bake your turkey then shred.
Add the pressure cooker liquid to the stock pot, add all other ingredients, except turkey and noodles. Bring to a boil. Add shredded turkey breast. Add egg noodles boil for 6 minutes and serve.
