We just wrapped up our 5th annual Hunting with Heroes Veterans appreciation weekend and are pleased to announce another great and successful event. We always try to include a diverse group of deserving veterans, and this year was no different.

We had a 23 year old man that just completed his tour of duty in the Marine Corps, all the way to an 88 year old gentleman that was in WWII, who survived a kamikaze attack on a Destroyer in the Navy.

Of course, in typical Hunting with Heroes fashion, the Veterans were escorted to the hunting grounds in  Klickitat, WA by the Patriot Guard Riders.

Once in Klickitat, the entire town showed-up to welcome the Vets. Classes were suspended while the Ladies Auxillary and children from local schools sang the Star Spangled Banner and other patrotic tunes.

The Vets got plenty of shooting practice in before hunting for pheasants and fishing for king salmon.

Of course, the food never stops nor does it disappoint...

It was another great weekend and we're pleased to be able to give back. We'll do it all again next year, so if you have a deserving Veteran in mind, nominate a Vet for our Hunting with Heroes weekend via the following link: https://www.mcnett.com/hwh. Hope to see you next year!
