Learn How Tenacious Tape Works

Step 01

Gently clean the rip or tear and let dry. Gently cleaning the area with some isopropyl alcohol will make your Tenacious Tape repair last for the long haul.

Step 02

Cut the size you need and round the corners. Make sure that your Tenacious Tape strip will overlap with the tear 0.5" in all directions. Rounding the corners will ensure the tape does not peel off with time or wear.

Step 03

Peel off the backing. Place the backing to the side, and position your strip above the tear or rip.

Step 04

Stick it on. Firmly stick your strip of Tenacious Tape down over the tear, pressing from the inside of the repair outwards to make sure there are no bubbles or wrinkles. Tenacious Tape is machine washable after 24 hours, and will stick with you mile after mile.
