GEAR AID makes repair and maintenance products that help you fix outdoor gear and extend its life — from wetsuits and tents to jackets, backpacks, and boots.
Where can I buy GEAR AID products?
You can find our products online at gearaid.com, through major outdoor retailers like REI and MEC, and at many local, community-focused dive and gear shops.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the U.S. only. We do not currently ship internationally or to unincorporated US territories. For international orders, please check with our global distributors or retailers that carry GEAR AID.
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders will ship within 7 business days from our Bellingham, WA headquarters. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location.
What’s your return policy?
If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can return unused items within 30 days for a full refund. Please visit our Returns Page for details.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
GEAR AID ships USPS Priority or UPS Ground to the 48 Contiguous United States. We ship via USPS Ground Advantage to Alaska and Hawaii. At this time we do not offer expedited shipping.
What does shipping cost?
$9.95 flat rate shipping for orders $0-$34.99
Flat rate shipping cost of $14.95 to Alaska and Hawaii
Free shipping on orders $35+
If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered due to insufficient address, the customer is responsible for all charges incurred to reship the order. If the item is no longer wanted, the purchase price will be refunded to the original form of payment, minus shipping charges.
My package never arrived — what should I do?
If you didn't receive your package, please contact us within 14 days.
Do you offer free shipping?
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions, and all orders above $35.00 ship free. Sign up for our email list to stay in the loop. Otherwise, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and delivery speed.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
We try to process orders quickly, so changes or cancellations aren't always possible. Contact us as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to help.
Do you accept returns on used items?
Returns are only accepted on new, unused items in original packaging up to 14 days from date of sale. If your product is defective or damaged, reach out to our support team and we’ll make it right.

My gear is beyond a DIY repair — what do you recommend?
If the damage is simply too big for Tenacious Tape or Aquaseal, your best bet is to first reach out to the gear’s manufacturer — they often offer repair services or warranties.
For everything else, we recommend checking out Rainy Pass Repair, or doing an online search for a trusted repair shop local to you that specializes in outdoor gear and technical fabrics. They’re pros at handling big fixes and can help give your gear a second life.
