Learn How Aquaseal SR Works

Person wearing black gloves cleaning a damaged trail runner with a cloth

Step 01

Prep the surface. Clean the damaged area and remove any loose dirt or debris. If possible, rough up smooth surfaces with sandpaper for better adhesion. Make sure everything is dry before moving on.

Step 02

Apply Aquaseal SR. Squeeze a thin, even layer onto, or into, the damaged section — whether it’s a peeling sole, cracked midsole, or worn-out toe. Use a stick or brush to shape and smooth it as needed.

Step 03

Let it cure overnight. Keep the footwear flat/closed and undisturbed while the adhesive cures for 8–12 hours. For deep cracks or heavy wear, you can add a second layer after the first has set.

Step 04

Walk on. Once fully cured, your repair will be tough, flexible, and abrasion-resistant — ready for trails, streets, or shop floors.
