Learn How Tenacious Tape Silnylon Repair Tape Works

Step 01

Prep the surface. Locate the tear or puncture. Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and oils, and then let it dry completely.

Step 02

Cut the patch. Trim a piece of Silnylon Repair Tape large enough to cover the rip, extending about 0.5" in all directions. Round any corners to prevent the tape from peeling up.

Step 03

Peel and place. Remove the backing from the tape. Center the patch over the damaged area and lay it flat.

Step 04

Press to patch. Apply firm pressure from the center outward to remove any air bubbles and ensure a strong bond. Your gear is immediately ready to get back out there.
