With 2 repair options (sewing repair or no-sewing repair), we make repairing convertible tops a breeze.

To start, you'll need to get yourself the Jeep Soft Top Repair Kit from McNett (https://www.mcnett.com/jeep-soft-top-repair-kit). Once you have yourself a kit, follow these simple instructions for an easy and permanent repair:

NO-SEW REPAIR OPTION

STEP 1: Clean both sides of the repair area with isopropyl alcohol. This will remove any dirt, residue or body oils which may prevent a good bond.

STEP 2: Trim any fraying edges with scissors.

STEP 3: Apply a piece of Tenacious Tape over the rip, tear or hole. Make sure the Tenacious Tape extends at least 1'' beyond the rip, tear or hole perimeter. When cutting your Tenacious Tape patch round the corners. When applying the patch, smooth out any bubbles and ensure the edges lay flat.

STEP 4: Once you've applied the Tenacious Tape on one side of the repair, you will need to apply the Aquaseal adhesive on the other side of the repair. Simply paint a thin layer of Aquaseal over the repair area, extending at least 1/2'' in all directions of the rip, tear or hole.

STEP 5: Apply another piece of Tenacious Tape over the Aquaseal adhesive. Again, make sure the Tenacious Tape patch extends at least 1'' beyond the rip, tear or hole perimeter. When cutting the patch round corners and when applying it, smooth out any bubbles and ensure the edges lay flat. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure.
