Tenacious Tape is an ultra-strong repair tape useful for making quick, peel and stick repairs to nearly any piece of outdoor gear. It sticks to nylon, polyester, vinyl, rubber, neoprene, polyurethane leather, canvas, and plastic surfaces. Quickly repair rips and holes in outerwear, waders, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tents, tarps, backpacks, and more. It can be removed within 72 hours, and repositioned if needed. It’s offered in clear, various colors, and reflective.
NYLON: Black, yellow, red, teal, neon, fuchsia, and orange are nylon fabric, which provides more flexibility to outerwear and glove repairs, and can be washed and dried. The black, red, and yellow nylon comes in 3”x20” strips. The black nylon is also available in a variety of fun shapes and sizes as Gear Patches.
REFLECTIVE: Reflective is a glass bead nylon reflective fabric that can also be washed and dried. Reflective is available as a 3”x20” strip and as Gear Patches.
Tenacious Tape Flex Patches is a stronger, more heavy-duty adhesive backing than Tenacious Tape and cannot be removed. Available in 3” x 5” clear FLEX PATCHES and made of TPU (plastic) material, this tape stretches, flexes, fights UV yellowing/cracking, resists abrasions, and won’t puncture. They can also be washed and dried, and are ideal for use on stretchy fabric, inflatables, or items that get long-term sun exposure.
Repair Tape Tips
Use Tenacious Tape for making quick, in-field repairs to rips and holes in gear and outerwear and Tenacious Tape Max or Seam Grip for permanent repairs. You can also use Tenacious Tape and Seam Grip in conjunction with one another. For instance, if you spring a leak in your air mattress while camping, you can apply Seam Grip over the hole and then place Tenacious Tape over the top. This will instantly stop the leak and allow you to use the sleeping pad immediately as the Seam Grip cures.
