How to Waterproof Breathable Waders

NOTE: Before applying a water repellent to any type of fabric, it is essential that you begin by cleaning the item. Dirt and body oils can severely impact performance. You should always begin by cleaning with a specialized cleaner like Revivex Pro Cleaner.

Apply DWR to Waders

Restore water repellency to GORE-TEX® waders or other breathable waders with Revivex Durable Water Repellent spray on treatment.

While waders are damp, spray the exterior with Revivex Durable Water Repellent. Use a warm iron to activate water repellent treatment—avoid ironing neoprene booties or rubber components.

You can also air dry the waders, but please allow 48 hours for the repellent to set in before use.
